It is impossible to see or sense the gorge from below. Once you enter, a magical water world suddenly opens up surrounded by rocks. This via ferrata leads directly through the ravine, just above the water. It is the ideal activity for warm summer days. Well suited for beginners and children and no more difficult than B/C. The climb may be closed or blocked following heavy rainfall or during the spring.

The Rongg Waterfall via ferrata is located slightly above the village centre of Gargellen. The via ferrata is accessible via a foot path from the village centre in approx. 15 min. A short, but impressive via ferrata which leads directly along the Rongg Waterfall. A rope bridge across the brook, a steep wall and the thunderous waterfall are the highlights. The air is a little cooler here on warm days due to the deeply indented waterfall. It is suitable for children and beginners, but the steep centre section means it is not to be underestimated.
