Resting at the Lünersee
Whether you are going for a walk around the Lünersee or a hike on the Schesaplana, rustic and modern huts are located around the Lünersee and invite you to take a break and relax. How much nicer is a hike or fishing excursion when you know that delicacies such as Kaiserschmarren (sugar raisin pancakes) or homemade Keesknöpfli (cheese dumplings) are waiting for you?

The Douglass Hütte is located right next to the Lünerseebahn summit station. You have a wonderful view of the lake from the terrace or the winter garden.
During a walk around the Lünersee, you will inevitably pass the Alpe Lünersee. Fresh buttermilk and delicious cheese breads await you after the half-way point.
The Totalphütte is located on a small plateau above the Lünersee. You can reach the hut in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from the Lünerseebahn summit station.
Located at the foot of the Zimba, the Heinrich Hueter Hütte can be reached from the Lünerseebahn summit station in about 2 hours.
