Hiking and sliding - the perfect combination for a varied family excursion

7 different slides and a newly created 2.4 km-long hiking trail take you from Matschwitz to Latschau. The forest slides with a diameter of 80 cm shorten your trip into the valley and are a whole lot of downhill fun.

The stainless steel slides are enclosed, so that you can still plan to a visit to Waldrutschenpark-Golm even in light rain or in the event of an uncertain weather forecast.

The slides vary in length from 30 to 80 m and have a total combined length of 380 m. The number and lengths of slides is one-of-a-kind in Europe! Children aged 4 years and up can enjoy this unique experience. The 500 vertical metres from Matschwitz to Latschau fly by and you’ll certainly want to give the slides another go. Our new day pass lets you do so without any additional costs – you can use the lift and slides as many times as you like. If you don’t feel like going down a slide, that’s no problem. You can simply use our new hiking trail which leads along the slides.

There are also rest areas between the slides where you can eat your snack or take a breather before continuing on to the next slide.

Please note: The trail is not suitable for buggies.

Rules of conduct

1. Sorry, not everyone can use the slides

The slides are allowed for kids from the age of 4 years. Children under 6 years have to be accompanied.
Pregnant women and people with cardiovascular diseases or back pain should also refrain from participating.

2. With regard to clothing please note

Please ensure that clothing is not loose and that there are no strings or tassels that could get caught.
Shoes are to be worn at all times.
It is possible that there can be some dirt or wearings at the cloths.

3. During the excitement

Slide in an upright position, feet first.
Keep distance from previous user.
Under no circumstances stop sliding or try to leave the flume before reaching the end.

4. After the fun

Please clear the run-out area immediately.

5. General advice

The Waldrutschenpark-Golm can only be used during summer opening times of the Golmerbahn.
Slides are not to be used under the influence of alcohol
Don‘t leave any waste!
Please use the marked hiking trails.
