Vermuntbahn and tunnel bus

Daily operation from 25 December 2024 - 01 May 2025

8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 01.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.

  • Last ascent from Partenen to Bielerhöhe: 4.00 p.m.
  • Last descent from Bielerhöhe to Partenen (tunnel bus): 4.00 p.m.

The natural ice surface of the Silvrettasee is closed to all traffic!

How to get to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe

Summer season 2024

Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße

Due to construction work, the Montafon side of the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße will be closed early for winter from Sunday, October 13, 2024 - 6.30 p.m.

The Silvretta-Bielerhöhe to the Vermuntsee can still be reached via the Tyrol side until October 27, 2024.

From October 28, the winter closure for the entire Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße will take place.

Tafamuntbahn

opening hours 05 august - 13 october 2024
Monday-Friday
  • One ascent at 7:30 a.m. and one at 7:45 a.m., no further rides
  • Due to construction work, the Tafamuntbahn-Versalspitze hiking trail is closed during the week, so the mountain station is not served on these days.

Note: On Friday, 11 October 2024 the Tafamuntbahn is in operation.

  • from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. (last descent)
  • For tours to the Versalspitze, the cable car runs to the mountain station from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
